✦ Step one

Download QueueTube

Pick how you'd like to install it. The Chrome Web Store is easiest — one click and you're done.

✦ Core feature

The Queue button

Head to your YouTube subscriptions page. You'll see a red button pinned at the top of the page — that's QueueTube. Hit it and every video on your feed starts playing one after another, automatically.

1

Go to your subscriptions

Visit youtube.com/feed/subscriptions. The Queue Subscriptions button will appear at the top of the page.

2

Scroll down first (optional but recommended)

YouTube loads videos in batches as you scroll. The more you scroll before clicking Queue, the more videos get added — you can load 300+!

3

Click Queue Subscriptions

The first video starts immediately. A panel appears in the bottom-right corner showing everything in your queue. Click any title to jump to it, or use the ◀ ▶ buttons to skip.

3 How I learned Spanish in 90 days
4 The best ramen I've ever had in Tokyo
📍
The red progress bars under some titles are videos you've already partially watched — just like YouTube shows on thumbnails. Use them to decide whether to skip.

✦ Smart filtering

Queue Unwatched

Sitting right next to the Queue button is a second option — Queue Unwatched. This one checks which videos already have a red progress bar and skips them, so your queue only contains videos you haven't started yet.

Perfect for catching up. If you've been away for a few days and your feed has a mix of new and half-watched videos, Queue Unwatched gives you a clean queue of only the fresh ones.

✦ Pick up where you left off

Continue Previous Queue

Closed the tab halfway through your queue? No problem. When you go back to your subscriptions page, QueueTube remembers where you were and offers to pick right back up.

Picks up from exactly the video you were on when you last stopped.

Not interested in resuming? Hit the small ✕ on the right to dismiss the button and start fresh.

✦ Power feature

Tags — queue by category

Tags let you organise your subscribed channels into groups — like #gaming, #music, or #news — and then queue only videos from those channels. Great for a focused session without distractions from other channels.

🧩
You'll need QueueTube pinned to your toolbar for this. Click the puzzle piece icon at the top right of Chrome → pin QueueTube → then click its icon to open the tag manager.
1

Go to your channels page

Visit youtube.com/feed/channels. You'll see a red Capture Subscriptions button in the bottom-right corner.

2

Click Capture Subscriptions

QueueTube will auto-scroll down the page to load all your channels and capture their names. This only takes a few seconds.

3

Open the tag manager

Click the QueueTube icon in your toolbar. Your channels will be listed. Hit + to create a tag, then assign channels to it.

4

Queue by tag on your subscriptions page

Go back to youtube.com/feed/subscriptions. Click the red # circle button — your tags will slide out. Pick one and only those channels' videos get queued!

Ideas for tags: #deepwork for ambient/lofi channels, #news for your morning catch-up, #gaming for weekend sessions, #cooking if you watch while making dinner. The tags are entirely yours to name however makes sense.

✦ Bonus feature

Media keys & headphone buttons

You don't need to touch Chrome to control your queue. The media keys on your keyboard or the button on your headphones work too — even if Chrome is running in the background.

This works with keyboard media keys (the ⏮ ⏯ ⏭ keys some keyboards have), wired headphones with an inline remote, and wireless headphones that send media commands. If your device has a play/pause button — it works.
